Abstract:
A system for measuring a cathode current. The system comprises: a conducting bar, and a current measuring device. The conducting bar is of a rectangular platy structure; a first end of the conducting bar is perpendicularly cut to form multiple long teeth (1); the multiple long teeth (1) are distributed at the first end of the conducting bar at equal intervals; the number of the multiple long teeth (1) equals to that of cathodes; the upper surface of each of the long teeth (1) comprises a bulged conductive contact (2); each conductive contact (2) is connected with one cathode of an upstream cell; a second end of the conducting bar is connected to a downstream cell and is opposite to the first end; and the current measuring device is disposed on the conducting bar and is used for measuring the current of each cathode. By use of the system, online accurate measurement of the cathode current can be realized on the condition that the operating cell in a cell face is not affected, the short circuit hazard of the cathodes can be predicated, and whether the short circuit hazard exists on a cathode plate can be timely discovered, thus avoiding the occurrence of short circuit of the cathodes, improving electrolytic current efficiency and product quality and lowering the labor intensity of a site operator.
