The present invention pertains to the technical field of optics and ophthalmology. The present invention relates to a system that makes it possible to measure the interpupillary distance, defined as the distance between the centre of the left pupil and the centre of the right pupil, dispensing with any additional artifact or object placed on the person's face, and using a conventional electronic device that comprises a processor, a camera (201) and a screen (200) with a high degree of reflection.
