Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a system message transmission method and apparatus and receiving method and apparatus, and a terminal. The transmission method comprises: dividing a system message into an MIB, remaining minimum SI and Other SI in advance, wherein the MIB comprises broadcast indication information indicating which system information blocks (SIBs) in the Other SI need to be broadcast, and the remaining Minimum SI comprises scheduling information about the SIB broadcast in the Other SI; and broadcasting a corresponding SIB in the Other SI on a third broadcast channel according to the broadcast indication information and the scheduling information. In the technical solution of the present disclosure, the scheduling information about the information blocks in the Other SI is relatively stable, thereby ensuring the contents of the remaining Minimum SI relatively stable, and facilitating the transmission of the remaining Minimum SI.
