Abstract:
According to the present invention, a controller acquires cliff position data. The cliff position data indicates the position of a cliff included in the current topography of a work site. The controller determines target design topography to be positioned lower than the current topography. The controller determines the termination position of work carried out by a work machine on the basis of the cliff position data. The controller generates a command signal for operating the work machine in accordance with the termination position and the target design topography.
