Abstract:
A system for conversion from RGB data to WRGB data. The system comprises: a color enhancement component, constructed to carry out color enhancement on input RGB values to obtain RGB values with colors enhanced; and a four-color conversion component, constructed to convert the RGB values with the colors enhanced into output WRGB values. A method for conversion from RGB data to WRGB data. By means of the system and method for conversion from RGB data to WRGB data, the saturation of display images is improved while the transmittance of a display device is increased, and the color enhancement effect is achieved.
