Abstract:
A system and method for detecting the smoke amount of an electronic cigarette using a cloud platform. The system comprises: a smoke amount detector placed in an electronic cigarette and used for detecting the smoke amount of emitted smoke during electronic cigarette inhalation in real time, and transmitting the detected smoke amount to a backend server; the backend server used for receiving smoke amount information sent by the smoke amount detector, calculating an accumulative value of the smoke amount, analyzing the costs for generating an equivalent smoke amount when regular cigarettes are used, and transmitting the smoke amount and costs information to a mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal used for obtaining the smoke amount and costs information from the backend server, and accordingly performing displaying and prompting. In this way, a user can learn about the costs saved for inhaling an electronic cigarette to persist in using the electronic cigarette and gradually change the habit of inhaling regular cigarettes.
