Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and a method for detecting a stealthy object. The system comprises: a beam splitting and focusing array (101), an image sensing array (102), and a data processing module (103). The beam splitting and focusing array (101) splits incoming detection light into beams, and focuses the split beams on corresponding image sensing units of the image sensing array (102). The image sensing units of the image sensing array (102) convert received light beam information into corresponding electrical information. The data processing module (103) reconstructs a wavefront of the incoming detection light according to the electrical information, so as to obtain reconstructed wavefront information, and identifies, by means of the reconstructed wavefront information and an artificial neural network algorithm, whether the incoming detection light contains scattered light of a stealthy object. The system is capable of detecting the existence of a stealthy object using a negative-index metamaterial.
