Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and a method for displaying vehicle state, and the system according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of cameras, mounted on a vehicle, for photographing images of the periphery of the vehicle; a detection unit for detecting the state of the vehicle; a control unit for converting the images photographed by the plurality of cameras to top view images; and a display unit for displaying the converted top view images together with a vehicle icon, wherein the control unit allows a display icon which indicates state information of the vehicle or danger information of the vehicle to be displayed together with the vehicle icon. The present invention displays the display icon, which indicates the state information of the vehicle or the danger information of the vehicle, together with the vehicle icon on the top view images, and thus can more promptly and accurately notify a driver of the state of the vehicle or the danger of the vehicle.
