Abstract:
A system and method for distributing a profit of derivative works, the system comprising: an original copyright holder terminal for receiving and transmitting an original work, original copyright holder information, and a royalty rate; a derivative copyright holder terminal for receiving and transmitting a derivative work corresponding to the original work, and derivative copyright holder information; a work registration server for receiving, from the original copyright holder terminal, registering, and posting, online, the original work, the original copyright holder information, and the royalty rate and for receiving, from the derivative copyright holder terminal, registering, and posting, online, the derivative work and the derivative copyright holder information; and a copyright profit distribution server for calculating and providing each of a copyright profit of an original copyright holder and a copyright profit of a derivative copyright holder according to the royalty rate of the original work, which has been posted by the work registration server.
