Abstract:
Disclosed are method and system for generating orthodontic data. A system for generating orthodontic data according to the present invention comprises a set-up data generation apparatus that extracts data for dental models, the data being three-dimensional dental form data from dental data received from a dental data acquisition apparatus that obtains three-dimensional dental data of patients for orthodontic treatment, and generates set-up data in which the dental models are realigned into corrective positions, wherein the set-up data generation apparatus generates a plurality of bounding boxes into which respective dental models are placed.
