Abstract:
A system and method for retaining, positioning and releasing a prosthetic heart valve are provided. The system includes a valve holder (1) and a control handle. The valve holder (1) includes a connection base (11) and at least one holding arm (12). The holding arms (12) are distributed around a periphery of the connection base (11), with the holding arms (12) having positioning structures (13) at the distal side thereof for engaging with an outflow side of the prosthetic heart valve (2). The control handle is coupled to the valve holder for controlling the valve holder (1).
