Abstract:

A system for managing communication with a movable object and methods of making and using the same. A request for movable object data can be received at a movable object manager in a movable object environment. Whether the movable object is available in a cache can be determined, and the movable object data can be provided to an application accordingly. A listener can be registered via the movable object manager that can receive the movable object data, store the movable object data in the cache, and provide the movable object data to the application. The present systems and methods are particularly suitable for managing communications with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
