Abstract:
A system and method for moving and positioning a target object. The system comprises an ultra-high-frequency radio frequency identification reader (RFID Reader) (1), a passive radio frequency identification tag (UHF RFID Tag) (2) and a compass application (3). The ultra-high-frequency radio frequency identification reader (1) is used for sending a set wave frequency signal. The passive radio frequency identification tag (2) can receive and reflect the signal, and can determine the orientation and intensity of the reflected signal in combination with the compass application (3). When a signal sent by the ultra-high frequency radio frequency identification reader (1) is received by the passive radio frequency identification tag (2), a reflected signal is generated, and the received signal strength indicators (RSSIs) of the signal in different directions of the compass are measured by using the compass application (3). It is suggested to move towards and approach a direction with strong signal strength so as to correctly position the target object (4).
