Abstract:
Disclosed are an observation system and a determination method for the amount of submarine sediment re-suspension due to deep-sea internal waves. The observation system comprises a submarine observation platform, a mooring rope and an anchor mooring counterweight, wherein the submarine observation platform is mounted with an acoustic releaser, a single-point current meter, a turbidity meter, a high-accuracy temperature-conductivity-depth meter and a sediment catcher; the mooring rope is provided with a primary floating body and a secondary floating body, the primary floating body being located in the middle of the mooring rope and being mounted with an acoustic Doppler current profiler, and the secondary floating body being provided with the turbidity meter and the high-accuracy temperature-conductivity-depth meter; and the anchor mooring counterweight is a gravity anchor with a square-frame retention groove and a fixing ring. The determination method comprises: calibrating instruments indoors, using an auxiliary ship to launch and retrieve the observation system, reading data of the observation instruments and analyzing the components of caught suspended solids, and determining the amount of sediment re-suspension due to internal waves. The present invention can be safely and stably placed on a deep-sea seabed, can realize the observation of ocean dynamic environment parameters of the full water depth from the seabed to the sea surface, and can determine the amount of sediment re-suspension due to internal waves.
