Abstract:
An optical router (100) switches any of the input optical channels ( lambda 1... lambda n) to and from any recipient (u1...um) in response to digital control signal (Ec). The optical router (100) enables relaying the optical channels ( lambda 1... lambda n) in an assembly of micro-mechanical units. The input optical channels ( lambda 1... lambda n) are directed to output optical fiber at predetermined positions in response to the digital control signal (Ec).
