Abstract:
A pedestrian navigation and positioning system (100), comprising: a GNSS receiving module (110) for determining initial position information of a pedestrian; a gas pressure sensor (120) embedded in an insole or a sole cavity of the pedestrian for measuring gas pressure in the cavity; a gait recognition module (130) for periodically sampling gas pressure measurement data output by the gas pressure sensor (120) and determining, according to the acquired gas pressure measurement data, a gas pressure change pattern in the cavity, and calculating, according to the acquired gas pressure measurement data and the gas pressure change pattern, the number of steps, step length information, and a height change value of the pedestrian; a travel direction determination module (140) for determining a travel direction of the pedestrian; and a navigation and positioning module (150) for calculating, according to the initial position information, the number of steps, the step length information, the height change value, and the travel direction information, a current position of the pedestrian on the basis of a PDR algorithm. The measurement function of the gas pressure sensor (120) is fully utilized in the system (100), thereby reducing the volume, weight, power consumption, and costs of the system. Also provided is a pedestrian navigation and positioning method.
