Abstract:
The present specification relates to a system and a method for preventing overheating of an axle in a construction machine, and a system for preventing overheating of an axle in a construction machine, according to one embodiment of the present specification, prevents overheating of an axle loaded in the construction machine so as to transmit driving force of an engine to wheels, and comprises: a brake pedal; a brake sensor for detecting displacement of the brake pedal when the brake pedal is operated by a driver; an exhaust brake loaded in the engine so as to control a degree of opening of an exhaust gas discharge path of the engine when driven; and a control unit for controlling the exhaust brake in correspondence to the displacement of the brake pedal so as to adjust a degree of opening of the exhaust gas discharge path, when an operation of the brake pedal is detected from the brake sensor.
