Provided are a system and a method for processing information by means of a wearable device. The method for processing information by means of a wearable device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving payment information by means of a first camera; extracting payment details or payment amount from the recognized payment information; receiving a payment approval command of a user; and providing the results of the payment approval. According to the present invention, a user can conveniently make a payment even when not in possession of a payment means, such as a credit card, by using a glasses-type wearable device.
