Claims:
WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1. A system of providing audio- visual (AV) response, comprising: at least one terminal (3) capable of installing at least one AV application, said application capable of portraying AV content; characterized in that said system capable of capturing image of at least one image (2) printed on at least one bottle (1).

2. The system, as claimed in Claim 1, wherein said tenrtinal (3) comprises of: at least one visual panel (4); at least one image capturing or scanning device (5); at least one processing means; at least one memory; at least one operating system capable of installing said application. 3. The system, as claimed in Claim 2, wherein said visual panel (4) has size sufficient to be viewed by at least one viewer.

4. The system, as claimed in Qaim 2, wherein said memory is capable of storing images being captured by said image capturing device (5), AV content to be portrayed when being activated and said AV application.

5. The system, as claimed in Qaim 1, wherein said image (2) can be photos, symbols or other suitable images.

6. The system, as claimed in Qaim 1, wherein said bottle (1) has material of glass, plastic, ceramic or any other suitable materials suitable to be printed images (2).

7. The system, as claimed in Claim 1, wherein content can be photo slideshows, videos or any suitable media.

8. A method of providing audio-visual (AV) response, comprising the steps of:

(i) printing any suitable images (2) to at least one bottle (1);

(ii) user using at least one image capturing device (5) of at least one terminal (3) to scan for predetermined image on at least one bottle (1);

(iii) once predetermined image is detected, processing means searches for AV content from memory and instructs visual panel (4) to portray said AV content.

9. The method as claimed in claim 8 wherein said AV content is matched with its respective image (2) from bottle (1).

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING AUDIO-VISUAL RESPONSE

FROM PRINTED BOTTLE

1. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to a system and method of providing audio-visual (AV) response, comprising of at least one terminal capable of installing at least one AV application, said application capable of portraying AV content, said system capable of capturing image of at least one image printed on at least one bottle.

2. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, when a user purchases a bottled product such as perfume, bottled drinks, or alike, the bottle's function is mainly to store the content. At times, the bottles will be printed with labels to show the brand name and/or information on the content. After the contents are fully utilized, the bottles are typically being thrown away because it has finished serving its purpose. This leads to wastage, whereby the bottle should be put to good use thereafter. At times, if the bottle is unique or has personalised or unique printed image, the user may keep the bottle for display purposes. However, the bottle will purely be used for display purposes.

It would hence be extremely advantageous if the above shortcomings are alleviated by having a system and method of providing audio-visual response, which is capable of capturing image of at least one image printed on at least one bottle.

3. SUMMARY OF THE ΙΝΓνΈΝΉΟΝ Accordingly, it is the primary aim of the present invention to provide a system and method of providing AV response which is able to fully utilize the image being printed on the bottle.

It is the yet another object of the present invention to provide a system and method of providing AV response which is able to add value when a consumer purchases any bottled content.

It is the yet another object of the present invention to provide a system and method of providing AV response which is environmental friendly because the bottles will not be thrown away after the content is fully depleted. Additional objects of the invention will become apparent with an understanding of the following detailed description of the invention or upon employment of the invention in actual practice- According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention the following is provided:

A system of providing audio-visual (AV) response, comprising: at least one terminal capable of installing at least one AV application,, said application capable of portraying AV content; characterized in that said system capable of capturing image of at least one image printed on at least one bottle.

In another embodiment of the invention there is provided:

A method of providing audio-visual (AV) response, comprising the steps of:

(i) printing any suitable images to at least one bottle;

(ii) user using at least one image capturing device of at least one terminal to scan for predetermined image on at least one bottle; (iii) once predetermined image is detected, processing means searches for AV content from memory and instructs visual panel to portray said AV content.

4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other aspect of the present invention and their advantages will be discerned after studying the Detailed Description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:

5. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

In the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the invention. However, it will be understood by the person having ordinary skill in the art that the invention may be practised without these specific details. In other instances, well known methods, procedures and/or components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the invention. The invention will be more clearly understood from the following description of the embodiments thereof, given by way of example only with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are not drawn to scale.

FIG. 1 shows an exemplary perspective view of the system of the present invention. The present invention provides a unique method of using the bottles (1) for additional purpose in order to add value to the bottle (1). The present invention is a system of providing audio-visual (AV) response, comprising at least one terminal (3) capable of installing at least one AV application, said application capable of portraying AV content, whereby said system is capable of capturing image of at least one image (2) printed on at least one bottle (1). The content being portrayed can be in the form of photo slideshows, videos, songs, animations, still photos, or any suitable entertaining or informative media.

The terminal (3) may comprise of at least one visual panel (4), at least one image capturing or scanning device (5), at least one processing means, at least one memory, and at least one operating system capable of installing said application. The visual panel (4) is mainly to portray any forms of AV content to individuals or groups of individuals. Therefore, the visual panel (4) has size sufficient to be viewed by at least one viewer. The user can opt to view the AV content individually, or share the viewing of the AV content by having a bigger visual panel (4). Naturally, the terminal will also comprise of at least one speaker (6) to emit sound. The placement of the terminal (3) and visual panel (4) depends on the usage of the system. If a person only needs to view the AV content individually, a terminal (3) with a smaller visual panel (4) can be used by just holding it using the hand. If general group viewing is needed, the visual panel (4) can be placed on the wall, placed on the suitable viewing height using a stand, or just being placed on furniture such as a table or console.

The image capturing or scanning device (5) can be any suitable camera, video camera or the like, which is, when being enabled, is able to constantly capture images to be processed. The image capturing device (5) can be mounted to the visual panel (4) or be placed separately from the visual panel (4). The purpose of the image capturing device (5) in the present invention is to capture images of photos or images (2) printed on the bottle (1), said captured images to be used by the processing means and memory.

The processing means can be any central processing unit (CPU), processor, controller, or the like, which is able to perform data processing and management. The memory of the current invention is meant to store images being captured by said image capturing device (5), to store the AV content that will be portrayed when being activated, to store the AV application and others. The operating system capable of installing the AV application, works with the CPU to act as a recognizable platform for the user to install the AV application. Examples of operating system are iOS by Apples Inc, Android by Google or any other suitable operating systems. Therefore, the operating system operated by the terminal (3) should be suitable so that the AV application can be installed to the operating system. The AV application performs as a user interface for the user to instruct the image capturing device (5) to scan for images (2) from the bottle (1), for processing means to send AV content from the memory to the visual panel (4), and other relevant functions.

The image (2) that is printed on the bottle (1) can be photos, symbols, or any suitable images. Examples of photos that can be printed on the bottle (1) are photos taken by the user during a vacation. Preferably, high resolution photos (such as 20 dpi per cm) are being chosen to be printed on the bottle (1) in order for the image capturing device (5) to capture clear images to be processed by the processing means. However, any image resolution is also possible as long as able to be recognised and analysed by the processing means. The AV content that is being portrayed at the visual panel (4) of the terminal (3) depends on the preference of the user and/ or manufacturer. However, it is preferable that the AV contents portrayed have connection to the image being taken from the bottle (1). For example, if the image (2) on the bottle (1) is an image of scenery taken during the user * s trip to Italy, the AV content may be a photo slideshow of all the photos taken by the user during that trip so as to be viewed by friends and family on the visual panel (4). Another example would be that if the image (2) on the bottle (1) is a footballer, the AV content shown could be a video of the footballer shooting for goal and the goal celebration. Another example would be that if the image (2) on the bottle (1) is a singer, the AV content could be a music video of the singer. Besides photos, the bottle (1) can also be printed with symbols, animations, or any suitable images, as long as the image captured by the image capturing device (5) is able to be processed and analysed by the processing means. The bottle (1) being printed the image (2) can be of material such as glass, plastic, ceramic or any other suitable materials suitable to be printed images (2). All possible processes of printing the image (2) to the bottle (1) can be used, as long as the image (2) is suitable to be captured by the image capturing device (5) and analysed by the processing means. Preferably, the bottles (1) in the present invention are related to consumer product bottles a).

As shown in FIG 2, the present invention also concerns a method of providing AV response, comprising the steps of: (i) printing any suitable images (2) to at least one bottle (1) (201); (ii) user using at least one image capturing device (5) of at least one terminal (3) to scan for predetermined image on at least one bottle (1) (203); (Hi) once predetermined image is detected, processing means searches for AV content from memory and instructs visual panel (4) to portray said AV content (205). The AV content is matched with its respective image (2) from bottle (1). For step (i), the user can send any photo or image (2) to the manufacturer of the bottle (1), to be printed on the bottle (1). This makes the bottle (1) to be very personalized as well. At the same time, the user can also send the relevant photos, video or any other suitable media to the manufacturer so that the manufacturer can store it in the AV application. Thereafter, the user needs to download the AV application to their own terminal (3) such as mobile phones, tablets, television with camera capability, or others, which comes together with the personalized A V contents. In step (ii), when the user gets hold of the printed bottle (1), the user can use the image capturing device (5) of any of the terminals (3) which have installed the AV application, to scan the printed bottle (1). The captured image is then used by the processing means to compare with predetermined image to find a match. If there is no match, the image capturing device (5) will keep on scanning until the AV application is terminated by the user. If there is a match, step (iii) will take place, whereby the processing means will search for the AV content from memory and instructed the visual panel (4) to portray the relevant AV content.

By having the above system and process, products related to bottles (1) which can be printed with images (2) will not be wasted when the content is depleted. Empty bottles (1) can still be displayed and the images (2) printed on the bottles (1) can be used at any time to display relevant AV contents on the visual panel (4) of the terminal (3). The terminal (3) can also be a kiosk, which the user can bring the bottle (1) to be scanned to portray the AV content.

While the present invention has been shown and described herein in what are considered to be the preferred embodiments thereof, illustrating the results and advantages over the prior art obtained through the present invention, and the invention is not limited to those specific embodiments. Thus, the forms of the invention shown and described herein are to be taken as illustrative only and other embodiments may be selected without departing from the scope of the present invention, as set forth in the claims appended hereto.
