Abstract:

The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a ubiquitous trail mashup service, which enable users to register, on a digital trail map, motion pictures or photographs of ubiquitous trails directly taken by the users during a walk, user opinion, or the like on the ubiquitous trails, and to share the registered motion pictures, photographs or user opinion among the users. According to the present invention, a trail-providing server receives information on experiences from a user terminal of the user walking along a ubiquitous trail. The trail-providing server registers the received information on a digital trail map of ubiquitous trails in accordance with the position information of the user terminal from which the information is acquired. Subsequently, the trail-providing server provides a terminal, which is connected to the homepage of the trail-providing server, with the digital trail map to which information on experiences is registered, in accordance with the request of said terminal connected to the homepage. As, the user terminal and the trail server provide information on experiences on the basis of the information of the position at which the information on experiences is registered, the user may share not only his/her own information on experiences registered thereby, but also information on experiences registered by other users at a specific position.
