Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and method for the purification, collection and preparation of an isotope sample. The purification, collection and preparation method comprises: I. a purification and enrichment procedure, involving: step 1. introducing a sample via a sample inlet unit, and in turn, bringing a gas sample into a VOC trap (T1) to remove water and VOC ingredients; and step 2. sending a sample in a liquid nitrogen enrichment trap (T6) into a GC chromatographic column by means of a carrier gas introduced via a second carrier gas supply pipeline, and carrying out separation in the GC chromatographic column according to different retention times; and II. a transfer, re-enrichment and collection process, involving: cutting off a pipeline, bringing a purification and re-enrichment trap (T8) into communication with the GC chromatographic column, and after a carrier gas introduced via a third carrier gas supply pipeline is passed through the purification and re-enrichment trap (T8) and a pipeline in communication therewith, discharging the carrier gas from a sample discharging pipeline; evacuating the purification and re-enrichment trap (T8) and a pipeline, and bringing the purification and re-enrichment trap (T8) and a sample collection tube (5) into communication, via a vacuum pipeline, to discharge an impurity gas and the carrier gas; and diffusing the target gas enriched in the purification and re-enrichment trap (T8) into the sample collection tube (5).
