Abstract:
A method for randomly aligning an SOC of a reusable battery according to an embodiment of the invention comprises the steps of: determining initial SOC levels of battery cells; sequencing the battery cells in ascending order of the initial SOC levels of the battery cells; in order to achieve a target SOC level, calculating an optimal total processing time by calculating an operation time of a pack charger and each cell-specific processing time of a cell equalizer; and performing a cell balancing operation in the order of the sequencing during the total processing time.
