Abstract:
A system and method for sending a taxi by using favorites in online taxi renting. The system comprises: a passenger client (2), vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), and a server (3) providing a taxi hailing service, all of which interact through a mobile network. The passenger client (2) adds drivers providing satisfactory service to the favorites. The passenger client (2) sends a taxi hailing request message to the server (3) when the passenger hails a taxi again. After receiving the taxi hailing request message, the server (3) selects at least one taxi and distributes the taxi hailing request message to the vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) of the selected taxies. The vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) receive the taxi hailing request distributed by the server (3) and decide whether to take the order according to the status of operation, and the vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) each send an order taking message to the server (3) if the vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) decide to take the order. After receiving the order taking messages from the vehicle-mounted terminals (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d), if the server (3) judges that the driver of the taxi is in the favorites of the passenger, the server (3) ranks the corresponding driver on the top and sends the driver to the passenger client (2).
