Abstract:
A system and a method for a single sign-on service are disclosed. In a system for a single sign-on service, according to embodiments of the present invention, a user terminal transmits, to a service server, biometric information and authentication information inputted from a user, so as to request single sign-on and, when an authentication success response is received from the service server, requests, from the service server, the use of at least one of a plurality of applications without additional authentication so as to provide same to the user, information to be compared for terminal authentication is stored, each of the biometric information and the authentication information is compared with the information to be compared so that the single sign-on is performed, the authentication success response is transmitted to the user terminal when the single sign-on is successful, and the use of an application requested by the user terminal is provided to the user terminal.
