Abstract:
A system and method for testing an adiabatic stress derivative of temperature of underwater rock. The system comprises a first pressure resistant tank (1), a second pressure resistant tank (2), and a third pressure resistant tank (3) which are placed in seawater. A data acquisition unit (11) is mounted in the first pressure resistant tank (1); a rock sample (4) is mounted in a first cavity of the second pressure resistant tank (2); temperature sensors (61, 62, 63) are respectively provided on the outer surface and the center of the rock sample (4) and in the first cavity; a pressure sensor (7) is further provided in the first cavity; output ends of the temperature sensors (61, 62, 63) and an output end of the pressure sensor (7) are all connected to input ends of the data acquisition unit (11); a first bleeder valve (21) in communication with the first cavity is mounted on the second pressure resistant tank (2); a second bleeder valve (22) in communication with the first cavity and a second cavity (31) is further mounted between the second pressure resistant tank (2) and the third pressure resistant tank (3). By monitoring in real time and recording changes of the confining pressure in the second pressure resistant tank (2) and the core temperature of the rock sample (4), the adiabatic stress derivative of temperature of underwater rock can be obtained.
