Description:
TITLE OF THE INVENTION

A system and method to share dynamic and static content with voice to the users

[0001] Priority Claim

[0002] This application claims priority from the provisional application numbered 2841/CHE/2015 filed with Indian patent Office, Chennai on 5th June, 2015 entitled "A system and method to share dynamic and static content with voice to the users", the entirety of which is expressly incorporated herein by reference. [0003] Preamble to the Description

[0004] The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:

[0005] Description of the invention:

[0006] Technical field of the invention [0007] The present invention relates to a system and method to share static, dynamic and other file formats with the users. More particularly, the present invention provides interactive sharing of dynamic content such as web content social media content and news between the sender and the receiver through voice calls and pre-recorded voice messages. [0008] Background of the invention

[0009] The recent developments in digital information compression techniques have resulted in various content distribution services such as news distribution services, social media distribution and other web content distribution services. The news distribution service, the social media distribution services and web content distribution service distribute news content, social media content and web content through personal computers (PCs), portable phones, and satellite broadcasting receiving systems. Each content includes several types of variations such as video, text, image, audio etc. Recent developments in the mobile and web technology have led to the development of a system that provides interactive sharing of dynamic content like news content, social media content, web content and static content like images, word documents, pdf etc. between the sender and the receiver through the voice calls and pre-recorded voice messages.

[0010] Various types of conventional content sharing systems are known in the prior art. The United States Patent document 7870493 B2 describes a distributed clipboard. In the cited patent document, the distributed clipboard provides a shared clipboard to participants in a conversation. The shared clipboard is specific to the conversation to which it is associated in that the shared clipboard does not "spill over" from one conversation to another. When a conversation between two or more participants is established, a shared clipboard becomes available to the participants of the conversation. The shared clipboard facilitates the sharing of data between the participants in the conversation. During the conversation, each participant in the conversation is provided access to the shared clipboard, including its contents. When a participant joins or is added to the conversation, the added participant is also provided access to the shared clipboard and its contents. [0011] The United States Patent document 7899161 B2 describes the voicemail messaging with dynamic content. In the cited document, a voicemail messaging system provides a user with the ability to record a voicemail message that includes at least one static portion and a dynamic content portion. When the voicemail message is accessed for listening by a recipient the dynamic content portion is filled with information retrieved via a URL link. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. [0012] The Patent document WO2013082714 Al describes a system and method for sharing electronic news items. In the cited document, the system and method sends a first message to a recipient using a messaging channel, the message including information identifying an electronic news article provided by a data channel; receiving a second message from the recipient over the messaging channel, the second message having been composed in a news application; and displaying the second message in association with the electronic news article in the news application. A system and method are also provided for receiving a first message from a sender over a messaging channel, the message including information identifying an electronic news article provided by a data channel; obtaining the electronic news article using the data channel; enabling a second message to be composed in a news application displaying the electronic news article and sending the second message to the sender using the messaging channel.

[0013] The claimed system provides real time sharing of news and social media content to the users (s) and does not provide interactive sharing of dynamic and static content between the users. The conventional electronic news media permits the potential user (s) to penetrate news, social media content, dynamic and static content but doesn't provide interactive sharing of the content with voice. The conventional system does not store the selected sharing data content along with voice content before sending to the associated user (s) therein. Typically, the conventional system does not display the shared data on the receiver's and sender's mobile devices simultaneously during the voice call or play the prerecorded voice messages when the shared data is displayed on the receiver's mobile; when they are looking at the shared data. The conventional systems do not provide interactive sharing of news content, social media content, web content, audio, video, image, audio between the sender and the receiver through the voice calls and with pre-recorded voice messages. [0014] Hence, there is a need for a system and method that provides interactive sharing of content between the sender and the receiver through the voice calls and with pre-recorded voice messages.

[0015] Summary of the invention:

[0016] The present invention overcomes the drawbacks in the prior art and provides a system to share dynamic and static content through voice to the users. In the preferred embodiment, the system comprises an access module, an input module, a storage module, a display module, a transfer module and a playback module. The access module permits the first user to provide access to the static and dynamic content, wherein the access module allows the first user (s) to select the static and dynamic content therein. The input module is configured to accept and store the first user input, wherein the first user input includes the selected static and dynamic content. The input module allows the first user to record a voice message about the selected static or dynamic content and also allows the first user to associate the selected static or dynamic content to the second user for a voice call. The storage module stores the static or dynamic content with the recorded voice message. The display module displays the stored static or dynamic content with the recorded voice message to the first user. The transfer module transfers the selected input with the recorded voice message to the second user. The playback module displays the selected input and plays the pre-recorded voice message for the selected input to the second user.

[0017] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the input module further allows to include selective portions of the selected content from the access module (101) for voice messages and voice call.

[0018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the playback module further plays the pre-recorded voice messages according to selected portions of user input when the user reaches the selected portions on the display device. [0019] In another embodiment of the invention, the system further includes an in- call display module which displays the associated static and dynamic content to both the first user and the second user simultaneously, when the associated second user calls the first user or vice versa

[0020] In another embodiment of the invention, the in-call display module displays the associated static and dynamic content to the first user, when the associated second user calls the first user or vice versa.

[0021] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the in-call display module shows the selected portions of static and dynamic content on a display when the first and second user are in voice call with each other and users speak about the selected portions of static and dynamic content.

[0022] In another embodiment of the invention, the method includes the steps of accessing the dynamic and static content by the sender. After accessing, the sender selects and stores the required content from the dynamic and static content. The sender records the voice message about the selected dynamic and static content. After storing the dynamic and static content, the sender transfers the selected dynamic and static content along with pre-recorded voice message to the receiver, wherein the pre-recorded voice message includes information about the selected dynamic and static content. Finally, the dynamic and static content with the pre-recorded voice message is displayed to the receiver and the receiver plays the pre-recorded voice message therein.

[0023] In the another embodiment, the method includes the steps for accessing selective portions of static and dynamic content by the sender and recording voice messages for those selected portions of the content. After storing the pre-selected portions of static and dynamic content along with pre-recorded voice message for each selected content, the sender transfers the pre-selected dynamic and static content along with pre-recorded voice messages to the receiver, wherein the prerecorded voice messages include information about the pre-selected portions of the static and dynamic content. Finally, the dynamic and static content with the pre-recorded voice messages is displayed to the receiver and the receiver plays the pre-recorded voice messages or the voice messages is auto-played when the receiver reaches the pre- selected portions of the dynamic and static content in the display.

[0024] In the another embodiment, the method includes the steps of displaying the selected static and dynamic content to both the first user and the second user simultaneously, when the associated second user calls the first user or vice versa.
