Abstract:
A system for mid-infrared laser light with a tunable broadband. The pulse laser light generated by a pulse laser (1) is divided into two beams of pulse laser light by a beam splitter (2). The first beam of pulse laser light passes through a first pulse stretcher (3) and reaches a coupling mirror (8). The second beam of pulse laser light passes through a broadband signal light generator (6) to obtain broadband signal light. The broadband signal light passes through a second pulse stretcher (7) and reaches the coupling mirror (8). The first beam of pulse laser light and the broadband signal light together pass through the coupling mirror (8) and enter a nonlinear crystal (9) to obtain amplified broadband signal light, idler light, and residual pump light. By means of the beam splitter (10), the idler light, the amplified broadband signal light, and the residual pump light are separated, and a pulse compressor (11) compresses the pulse width of the separated idler light to obtain mid-infrared ultrashort pulse laser light.
