Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for missing child prevention using a wearable device and a method for processing the same. A wearable device is worn by a ward, and identification information is transmitted to a guardian terminal in real time using a low-powered wireless communication module. The guardian terminal recognizes and monitors the position of the ward in real time using the wearable device's identification information. The system for missing child prevention provides the guardian terminal and peripheral terminals, which are positioned in the periphery of the wearable device, with a missing child prevention application. When the wearable device is at a predetermined distance from the guardian terminal and is unable to communicate wirelessly, the system for missing child prevention provides the peripheral terminals with guide information, request information that requires activation of wireless communication modules of the peripheral terminals, and the corresponding wearable device's identification information. Accordingly, the system for missing child prevention receives position information regarding the wearable device of the child who has been reported as missing, among wearable devices positioned in the periphery, from at least one of the peripheral terminals, and the system transfers the position information to the guardian terminal. According to the present invention, the position of the ward who wears a wearable device can be tracked and monitored in real time, and, when a child is missing, the position of the ward can be recognized under cooperation with people in the periphery.
