Abstract:
A system for monitoring coastal underground water comprises: a fresh water/salt water boundary location-tracking apparatus, which is inserted into an observation well for measuring underground water in coastal areas, and which moves on the fresh water/salt water boundary in accordance with change in buoyancy; and a first measuring sensor, which is inserted into the observation well and comprises a distance measurement portion, which is positioned higher than the fresh water/salt water boundary location-tracking apparatus, for measuring a first distance to the fresh water/salt water boundary location tracking apparatus, wherein the first measuring sensor comprises a first transmission portion for transmitting the first distance which is measured.
