Abstract:
The present invention provides a system for observing flooding railways and to a method for controlling same, comprising: detection means, a plurality of which are provided on the railway rails, for sensing measurement information of wind speed, wind load, and precipitation; a sensor node for receiving the detected information from the detection means; a gateway for receiving and transmitting the detected information from the sensor node; and a control system for releasing accumulated precipitation or precipitation per hour using the precipitation measurement data which is received from the gateway, or for predicting and controlling railway flooding risk after releasing the accumulated precipitation or the precipitation per hour by applying the wind speed and wind load measurement data to the precipitation measurement data, when the precipitation is irregular.
