Abstract:
Provided is a power supply device capable of realizing control for switching the number of operations in accordance with a load state with a simple circuit configuration. A plurality of power conversion units (31-34) are each provided with: an inductor L; switching circuits (Q1, Q2); and a PWM control IC (40). A MPU (20) outputs a control signal to the power conversion units (31-34). Output parts of the power conversion units (31-34) are connected in parallel to an output terminal Pout. Operation-number signal generation circuits of feedback signal generation circuits (50) generate operation-number signals Sop by using individual current signals based on the inductor current of the respective power conversion units (31-34), and output the operation-number signals to the MPU (20). The MPU (20) sets operations of the power conversion units (31-34) by using the operation-number signals Sop, and outputs control signals including setting of the operations of the power conversion units (31-34).
