Abstract:
There is provided a system for preventing unauthorized use of a digital content capable of preventing unauthorized use of a digital content and surely receiving a fee for a secondary use. The system includes as basic components: for-circulation recording medium &agr recorded without reproduction information a1 indispensable for a content file having header information “a” and a data main body “b” to reproduce the data main body “b” contained in the header information “a”; a management center (110) serving as management means for managing use of the content file on the for-circulation recording medium &agr and capable of distribution the reproduction information a1 of the header information “a” prepared in advance as piece data via a communication line β; and a digital content reproduction device (120) used for reproducing the content file on the for-circulation recording medium &agr and having the function capable of communicating with the management center (110) via the communication line β.
