Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for producing customized eyeglasses and a method therefor. The system for producing customized eyeglasses according to the present invention comprises: a scanning unit capable of three-dimensionally scanning the head shape of a user and generating data; a design unit capable of receiving the scanning data from the scanning unit, and selecting the shape and design of an eyeglass frame to fit the head shape and generating data; a production unit capable of receiving the data about the shape and design of the eyeglass frame selected by the design unit and producing an eyeglass frame; an eyesight test unit capable of testing the eyesight of the user and generating data; a lens unit capable of receiving the data selected by the design unit and the data measured by the eyesight test unit and producing lenses that fit the selected eyeglass frame; and a coupling unit capable of coupling the lenses produced by the lens unit to the eyeglass frame produced by the production unit.
