A system for providing function information on a plurality of external electronic devices on the basis of location information of an electronic device, according to various embodiments of the present disclosure, may comprise: a plurality of external devices which confirm that an electronic device is located in a unique area of the external electronic devices on the basis of a first communication module, and, when a function is executed in the external electronic devices, transmit function execution information for the executed function to the server; a server which stores the function execution information received from the plurality of external electronic devices as function execution information of the electronic device, checks a first function among the function execution information of the electronic device on the basis of a function comparison priority, generates a function comparison interface comparing the functions of the plurality of external electronic devices including the first function, and transmits the generated function comparison interface to the electronic device; and the electronic device which displays the function comparison interface received from the server. Various other embodiments may be provided.
