Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of providing a real-time rock-paper-scissors game on an online game server. The online game server method comprises the steps of: (a) receiving information on registration applications input from user terminals for participating in a game tournament; (b) deciding which of the users logged on in step (a) with registration information input from user terminals, will participate at the time preset for commencing the game tournament; (c) determining tournament matches according to preset criteria for selection among the tournament game participants selected from step (b); and (d) providing tournament games according to tournament matches selected from step (c). According to the present invention, a global service can be provided for the simple rock-paper-scissors game which is known world-wide, and an exciting variation to the game is provided by use of a game database which stores the behavioural patterns of the players. Additionally, the present method provides a real-time online tournament game system which is superior to existing online games in terms of ensuring large numbers of concurrent games to be played.
