Abstract:
[Purpose] To provide a system for recycling a coated electric wire, the system being constituted of the following: a continuous carbonization device for pyrolyzing a coated electric wire by using an electric heater, microwave irradiation, and a heating means relying on superheated steam in an oxygen-free or low-oxygen atmosphere, to separate and recover a coating material and copper wire; a catalytic gas purification device for purifying a decomposition gas generated in the continuous carbonization device; and a hydrogen chloride absorption tower for removing hydrogen chloride generated in the pyrolysis of the coated electric wire. The continuous carbonization device includes a pyrolysis chamber of one or more stages, and the pyrolysis chamber is provided with a freely rotating eccentric plate having a fire grate for directly receiving the coated electric wire.
