Abstract:
The present invention provides a system for removing foam generated by discharged cooling water of a power plant, comprising: a plurality of suction units which divide, into a plurality of sections, a foam suction area along the longitudinal direction of a foam fence for trapping foam so as to prevent the foam generated by the discharged cooling water of the power plant from flowing out, and which are respectively provided on the surface of the foam fence, corresponding to each section, so as to suction the foam accumulated in each section; transfer lines respectively connected to the plurality of suction units so as to transfer the suctioned foam to a deep layer of the sea; a pump unit provided at the transfer line, and suctioning the foam by means of at least one suction unit according to the amount of foam accumulated in each section; and a control unit for controlling the driving of the pump unit.
