Abstract:
The present invention is a technical solution which eliminates manual labour during the process of screwing and unscrewing the earth drilling pipes by use of a common hydraulic system (electric or diesel driven hydraulic unit). The invention relates to a lightweight, portable, compact and easy-to-use system for screwing and unscrewing earth drilling pipes (for water supply, irrigation, petroleum, etc.) of any type aiming at the fastest and easiest screwing and unscrewing for each diameter of earth drilling pipe. Without any addition or modification, it can have the same efficiency also in horizontal use (irrigation networks, refinery pipes, etc.). The system for screwing and unscrewing earth drilling pipes of any type comprises of three mechanisms: a) mechanism [A1] for retaining the coupler (34C), that connects the lower pipe (34A) with the upper earth drilling pipe (34B), b) reciprocating motion transmission mechanism [A2] and the c) upper pipe (34B) screwing and unscrewing mechanism [A3].
