Title:
SYSTEM FOR SENSING POSITION IN SUBJECT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/063122
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a system for sensing a position in a subject which comprises a test capsule (2) in which a permanent magnet is contained and a position sensor (3) for sensing the position of the test capsule (2) according to the intensity of a fixed magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet contained in the test capsule (2). The position sensor (3) comprises field intensity sensing units (6a-6h), fixing members (7a, 7b) for fixing the field intensity sensing units (6a-6h) to a subject (1), and a positional information calculating unit (8) for determining the position of the test capsule (2) according to respective distances between the test capsule (2) and the field intensity sensing units (6a-6h) which are calculated based on the field intensities sensed by the field intensity sensing units (6a-6h).
