Abstract:
A system time setting method comprises: reading hardware time of a device (S110); determining a time zone parameter corresponding to the device (S120); and calculating system time of the device according to the hardware time and the time zone parameter, and displaying the system time (S130). By means of the method, system time of a device can be automatically set after a time zone parameter corresponding to the device is determined, so that the system time is adapted to a time zone where the device is located, and a time difference between the system time of the device and local time in a geographical position where the device is located is avoided. Also provided is a system time setting apparatus.
