The purpose of the present invention is to enable a program guide screen to be provided with high visibility for viewers regardless of the number of broadcast programs to be presented. The transmission/reception system is provided with: a screen data generation unit for generating program guide screen data which switches, at a predetermined time interval, between first program guide screen data wherein a plurality of items of broadcast image data included in a first group are respectively displayed in a plurality of display frames arranged on the same screen, and second program guide screen data wherein a plurality of items of broadcast image data included in a second group are respectively displayed in the same display frames as the plurality of display frames; a broadcast information generation unit for generating time information regarding the predetermined time interval and broadcast program identification information corresponding to the plurality of items of broadcast image data respectively included in the first and second program guide screen data; and a transmission unit for transmitting the program guide screen data, the time information, and the broadcast program identification information.
