Abstract:

An encryption technique is improved so as to have greater versatility with no loss of security; in said encryption technique, solutions are used in a transmission device and a reception device, said solutions generated in such a way that solutions generated in the same order are the same. An initial solution, used for solution generation in each of the two communication devices that will communicate, is sent from one communication device to the other. Both communication devices generate a mutually agreed-upon number of solutions from that solution, and set the last solution thereof as a new initial solution. Using solutions generated on the basis of the new initial solution, the transmission device performs encryption, and the reception device performs decryption.
