Abstract:
The present invention provides an authentication technology having even higher security than conventional techniques using a one-time password. A client and a server both have a function for successively generating a solution that is a list of numbers, letters, or symbols and that is the same under the same conditions. The client creates the first solution (S1002), generates encrypted data for authentication by using the solution to encrypt authentication data that is prescribed data (S1003), and transmits the encrypted data for authentication to the server along with identification information that is a user ID (S1004). The server receives the same (S2001), generates a solution (S2002), and creates encrypted data for authentication by using the solution to encrypt authentication data shared with the client (S2003). If the encrypted data for authentication generated by the server matches the encrypted data for authentication sent by the client, the server authenticates the client as legitimate.
