Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a system using an automatic ticket gate for a transportation facility, and the purpose of the present invention is to manage entrance and exit of users lacking a commuter pass with a high level of convenience. Commuter pass information including fingerprint information for each user is stored in a commuter pass information database (120). When an automatic ticket gate device (300) of an entry station A station detects fingerprint information, a commuter pass information determination unit (150) judges the validity of the fingerprint information, and also judges whether an exit station B station is in a state for which fingerprint exit is possible. The automatic ticket gate device (300) of the A station allows entry of the user without issuing a ticket if the fingerprint information is authenticated and a judgment that fingerprint exit is possible is obtained. On the other hand, when the fingerprint information is authenticated, but a judgment is made that fingerprint exit is not possible, a provisional ticket is issued.
