Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of hydrogen production by water electrolysis, and disclosed are a system for utilizing waste heat during hydrogen production by water electrolysis, and a working method therefor, comprising a water electrolysis hydrogen production system, a membrane distillation system, a heat consumer heating system, and a circulation cooling system. The waste heat generated during hydrogen production by water electrolysis serves as a heat source of a membrane distillation process to produce water supplemented for the water electrolysis hydrogen production system, thereby saving the heating energy consumption in the membrane distillation process. Compared with conventional water production systems, the energy consumption of water production of the membrane distillation system is lower. By means of a waste heat gradient utilization mode, waste heat still exists in circulating water which has been used to heat membrane distillation raw water, and the waste heat can be used for winter heating for heat consumers such as water electrolysis hydrogen production workshops or containers, thereby meeting temperature requirements of a space where the hydrogen production system is located; by means of the gradient utilization of the waste heat, the energy utilization efficiency of the whole water electrolysis hydrogen production system is improved. The system is reasonable in design, gradient and comprehensive utilization is carried out on the waste heat during hydrogen production by water electrolysis, the energy conversion efficiency is improved, and a good application prospect is achieved.
