Abstract:
A system for generating electricity and heating water from solar radiation comprising: at least two solar panels adapted to generate electricity from solar radiation; at least one channel affixed to the back of each one of the at least two solar panels so as to create an extended channel when the at least two solar panels are placed adjacent to one another; and a water pipe passing through the extended channel; wherein the solar panel is heated by solar radiation and the heat is conducted to the extended channel and further conducted to the water pipe for heating water therein.
