Abstract:
The main subject of the present invention is a wiping system (1) configured to wipe a glazed surface (4) of a vehicle (2), the glazed surface (4) having a frontal zone (6) and at least one lateral zone (8), the frontal zone (6) and the lateral zone (8) being joined by a curved zone (10), the wiping system (1) comprising at least one arm (12), a wiper (14) carried by a first end (16) of the arm (12) and a drive device (18) connected to a second end (20) of the arm (12), the wiping system (1) comprising at least one sliding member (22) extending along the frontal zone (6) in a first direction (A) and along the lateral zone (8), the drive device (18) being configured to move on the sliding member (22) along the frontal zone (6) and along the lateral zone (8), characterized in that the wiping system (1) comprises a pivoting member (32) interposed between the drive device (18) and the second end (20) of the arm (12), the pivoting member (32) comprising an element (70, 80) that causes the arm (12) to pivot about a direction of rotation (R) perpendicular to the first direction (A), the arm (12) comprising at least two portions (34, 36) that each extend in directions (B, C) that intersect one another, at least one of the portions (34, 36) of the arm (12) extending in a direction parallel to the direction of rotation (R).
