Abstract:
Provided is a system that exhibits high processing speed and low power consumption. This system comprises an image capture device and a calculation circuit. The image capture device comprises an image capture unit, a first storage unit, and a calculation unit, and the calculation circuit comprises a second storage unit. The image capture unit has a function for converting light reflected from an external subject into image data, and the first storage unit has a function for storing the image data and a first filter that is for performing a first convolution process for the first layer of a neural network. The calculation unit has a function for performing the first convolution process on the image data and the first filter and thereby generating first data. The second storage unit has a function for storing the first data and a plurality of filters that are for performing convolution processes for the second and subsequent layers of the neural network. The calculation circuit has a function for performing processes for the second and subsequent layers of the neural network using the first data, and thereby generating a depth map of the image data.
