Title:
SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FPR TRANSFERRING FLUID
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/039732
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
Various apparatuses and systems are provided for a turbocharger. In one example, the turbocharger system includes a first turbine (304) having an exhaust flow outlet (316) and a second turbine (308) hav¬ ing an exhaust flow inlet (340). The turbocharger system further in¬ cludes a transition conduit (310) fluidically coupling the outlet of the first turbine to the inlet of the second turbine, the transition conduit including an expansion region (320) upstream of a first bend (322), and a bypass (330) which routes exhaust flow around the first tur¬ bine, the bypass having an exhaust flow outlet fluidically coupled to the transition conduit downstream of the expansion region.
