Abstract:
Methods, computing systems, and computer-readable media may provide a method for simulating drilling operations. The method may include receiving a set of drilling parameters. The drilling parameters may represent a configuration of a drilling operation. The method may include applying the set of drilling parameters to a trained machine learning algorithm. The trained machine learning algorithm may be trained using one or more previous drilling simulation results. The method may include generating drilling dynamics results based on applying the set of drilling parameters to the trained machine learning algorithm. The method may include altering the configuration of the drilling operation based at least partially on the drilling dynamics results.
